Designed exclusively for two, our boutique chalet blends thoughtful luxury with the charm of country life. McDonald Hill welcomes guests aged 18 and over, and to protect our resident animals and local wildlife, pets are not permitted.

Wake to rolling valley views, enjoy farm-fresh eggs for breakfast, meet and feed the animals, then spend the afternoon exploring nearby wineries including Stringybark Winery, Landing 7 and Nesci Estate Wine Farm, or simply enjoying your private sauna and plunge pool.

For something a little different, make your way to the Hilltop Soak - a private lookout perched high above the property. Watch the sunrise over the Chittering Valley or return at sunset for a soak in the outdoor wood-fired bath (season permitting), with panoramic views across the surrounding countryside.

Back at the chalet, relax on the deck with a morning coffee, fire up the BBQ or spend the evening stargazing through the telescope. As the sun goes down, gather around the fire pit (season permitting) and enjoy the peace and quiet of the valley.

Inside, you'll find a thoughtfully appointed kitchenette with a two-burner cooktop, breakfast bar, bar fridge and coffee machine, along with a Smart TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. Unwind beside the Roaring Meg fireplace before finishing the day with a shower beneath the skylight.
